This worldwide system is designed to help dairy farmers prevent disease, improve dairy herd management, and extend the productive lifespan of their cattle.

CowSignals®: A Proven Approach to Dairy Success

CowSignals® is a practical, hands-on approach used by over 400 advisors and trainers across more than 60 countries. This method helps dairy farmers identify and interpret cow behaviour, leading to better welfare and increased profitability. By focusing on early detection of issues like lameness, mastitis, and ketosis, farmers can implement timely interventions that promote healthier, longer-living cows.

The global average lifespan of dairy cows is just 2.5 lactations. However, the top 1% of dairy farmers achieve six lactations per cow by consistently applying best practices. CowSignals® believes that with the right knowledge, all farmers can extend their cows’ productive lifespan to five lactations or more, improving both herd health and farm efficiency.

During an assessment visit, Chloe will review fundamental aspects of dairy herd management including housing conditions and behaviour while feeding, milking and at rest.
