The primary air filters became fouled with cottonwood seeds and other airborn debris so severly that they needed to be replaced at least once a year.
To capture airborne organic matter and debris, Galebreaker designed and supplied air pre-filters, fitted specifically to the intake frame structure of the generator. The filters were installed ahead of the primary filters.
As a result the customer does not need to replace the primary air filters each year. The pre-filters can now be cleaned in place as needed.
