Multi Skilled Production Operative

We’re looking for motivated and hands-on Production Operatives to join our team – we are happy to consider both temp and perm applications. This is a shift role operating on a shift pattern (6:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00).

This role involves a mix of fabric welding, cutting, industrial sewing, assembly, and packing, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and on-time delivery. You’ll work both independently and as part of a close-knit team, helping us meet our high standards and customer expectations. Previous manufacturing experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Role includes fabric welding, cutting/slitting, industrial sewing, fabrication & assembly, packing.
• You will need an absolute focus on right-first-time production, customer due dates and meeting our stringent quality requirements.
• You will need to work closely with the team but also work under your own initiative.
• Able to work to specifications, read work sheets, engineering drawings and be computer literate (shop floor collection/works order closing).
• Experience of one or more of the above production skills will be a distinct advantage although full training will be given to the successful candidate.
• Operate machinery in a safe & productive manner
• Ensuring all work is to the correct quality and manufacturing spec and delivered on time
• Able to use computer systems.
• Maintain cleanliness & tidiness throughout according to H&S requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS

• Previous manufacturing experience desirable
• Flexible approach to work
• Working under pressure, confident and approachable
• Maintaining a Healthy and Safe Working Environment
• Demonstrates a high level of Health and Safety awareness
• Customer focused attitude
• Fork-lift experience, although not essential, is desirable.
