Installation Team
Field Installation Technician
This position will be responsible for installing or supervising the installation of Galebreaker products both in Agricultural and Industrial sector. Projects undertaken can range in complexity dependent on what and where the products are being installed.
Operational Responsibilities
- the installation of Galebreaker products on Agricultural & Industrial sites
- supervision of customers own labour on site installations
- providing support & training for our network of dealers & distributors
- assisting with R&D projects as required, including testing, giving practical feedback to new developments
- ensuring company Vans are kept in an orderly and road worthy manner
- completing job related paperwork, including time sheets / site diary / reports / completion certificates as per company procedures
- following the company and customer’s health and safety procedures and practices are followed throughout the installation
A company vehicle (van), tools, PPE, mobile phone and tablet are included within the role. Even though Galebreaker headquarters is at Ledbury, Herefordshire, this role is based on you travelling from home to site with occasionally meeting at HQ.

- Leadership: From prior experience of mechanical fitting of products, you will be able to effectively lead and direct third-party labour to ensure products are installed to the Galebreaker standard
- Integrity: Self-motivated with a desire to achieve high standards and has attention to detail in their work
- Reliability: Good organisational skills, having a flexible approach to the work required is essential.
- Service: Strong communication skills are required to ensure the installation is a positive experience whereby the customer is kept informed on progress onsite.
- Some basic Electrical/Electronic knowledge is essential
- Must be comfortable to work at height using Powered access equipment and static towers
- The possession of up to date IPAF, PASMA & CSCS cards would be an advantage, but courses will be provided when required.
- Travelling throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world is a prerequisite. Long periods away from home may be required.
- A full UK Driving License is essential
- Valid Passport for worldwide travel
