Animal Health & Welfare
Livestock are vulnerable to poor housing environments. Housed above their Higher Critical Temperature (HCT) livestock are vulnerable to pneumonia and conditions emanating from moist and dirty bedding such as mastitis in dairy cows or tail biting in pigs. Housed below their Lower Critical Temperature (LCT) livestock can immediately become susceptible to collapsing feed conversion as they urgently use nutrients to keep warm rather than grow or produce milk. Our access and ventilation solutions are designed to optimise animal welfare and maintain healthy livestock year-round. We work with farmers to create good agricultural practices while prioritising animal welfare.
