LightRidge – Improving light and ventilation into livestock buildings

Home > Agriculture > LightRidge

Designed to improve light levels as well as ventilation in livestock buildings by providing an exit path for warm stale air while, at the same time, improving light transmission into the building. Effective airflow is critical in livestock buildings, helping reduce disease, limit heat stress, and improve herd performance.

Dairy Farmer, Louis commented “I was recommended by the builder to have a LightRidge installed in the new dairy shed, and was really impressed by the quality of the product so decided to install another one in the parlour to improve that space too.”

Durable, waterproof PVC roof panels ensure consistent natural light throughout the building. Standard roof lights can create inconsistent light in a building and can even create hot spots in certain locations which negatively impacts the animal. Integrated baffles facilitate the efficient exhaust of warm, stale air, enhancing ventilation and comfort.
