Duncan runs a mixed beef and arable farm, as well as operating a busy contracting business, from his base in the Cotswolds. Duncan was looking for doors for his new grain and machinery store.
After dismissing metal roller shutter doors as being heavy to open and expensive, Duncan looked at Galebreaker door options.
Will Johnson, UK Sales Manager, visited Duncan to discuss product options with him including fabric choice and manual vs electric operation, and to provide a full building survey.
Duncan chose two 6m x 6m Galebreaker Agridoors. These modular doors were specified with one solid panel at the base of the door and standard M75 mesh on the remaining panels. This popular combination of fabrics provides a solid lower surface to stop rain and weather ingress, whilst the permeable mesh panels above, provide weather protection and ventilation into the building; especially useful for both livestock and to prevent stored crops and feed from becoming damp and spoiling.
A full length Galvanized steel cowling is included with the doors to provide a rodent and bird proof seal; vital in upholding assurance standards. And as with every Galebreaker product, the doors are fully covered by Galebreaker’s industry leading 10 year warranty. Duncan is really happy with the final result – the doors are easy to use, cost effective and designed and manufactured here in the UK.
